SINK YOUR TEETH INTO HEAVENLY SIN
The history of the hamburger is truly a remarkable story. It began with the Mongols army known as the “Golden Horde”, led by Genghis Khan (1167-1227) who conquered two thirds of the then known world. A Calvary based army needed a convenient meal that could be eaten with one hand as they rode into battle due to going days without dismounting. They would put the raw meat of lamb and mutton formed into patties under their saddles which was tenderized as they rode their horses. Thus, ground meat was born. The use of the saddle logo, the horseshoe pattern and real people in the advertisements stand for this historic moment in time, creating the new “Burger Heaven”.
